Blame it on my Grandma. Her obsessive need to capture everything on film was incredibly contagious and possibly hereditary. No matter the link behind it, it pulled me in. It sucked me in! I was hooked! I had the disposable cameras, the polaroids, the 35mm that I had no idea what would show up (oh the mystery!)and my very first digital camera! Oh my! Was I in Heaven! Once that camera was in my hands, hide or smile because I am snapping away! That pure love did not dissipate. I would let nothing stop me from getting the shot or angle I needed. Laugh if you must but that weird position I was just in and me almost falling backwards just got me my new favorite shot!
